A membership certificate for the Society of the Sons of St. George, "established at Philadelphia, for the Advice and Assistance of Englishmen in Distress." This particular certificate was signed by Mr. John C. Marren, "resident member." The certificate is also signed by President Robert E. Griffith, Secretary Samuel Thompson, and Treasurer William Page.
