At a meeting of the subscribers to the plan for promoting the culture of the mulberry tree, and the raising of silk worms, held at the Indian Queen, April 2, 1828, Benjamin R. Morgan, chairman, and M. Carey, secretary, the following constitution was read, and, after due consideration, adopted.
