Summary: This is a very clever set of six HSP staffers (Chris Damiani, Erin Paulson, Rachel Moloshok, Aja Davis, Megan Evans and Vincent Fraley), riffing on the Beatles' Abbey Road album cover, strutting on the newly painted rainbow crosswalk at 13th & Locust. The crosswalk in front of HSP, the center of the Gaybourhood, was painted by the City to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the gay civil rights protests (Reminder Days) which first took place in front of Independence Hall in 1965. Locust Street, in front of HSP, has been renamed Barbara Gittings Way, in honour of the pioneering civil rights crusader.
