Item Description:	In his reply to this pamphlet, John Henry Hobart states that "it is no secret, that the Rev. Dr. [Samuel Hulbeart] Turner is the author of the "Account,&c." (Cf. Hobart, John Henry, bp., 1775-1830. Brief notice of an "Account of the true nature and object ..." New York, 1829, p.12. Includes, on pp.16-22, a letter from Jonathan M. Wainwright to the members of the Association, giving his reasons for separating himself from the organization.
