Most items depict preparations for openings, dedications, ceremonies, and fund raising activities. Highlights relations between hostesses and military personnel with views of eating, drinking, dancing, and playing games. Other images show hostesses and entertainers with soldiers and sailors on group outings. Portrays men and women grooming themselves in preparation for events. Scenes at the Hannah Penn House club at 17th and Locust Street include interior and exterior views of the building. Of note is documentation of Reyburn Plaza decorated in the summer as the labor plaza and in the winter as the Town Hall quarters.
