The Map of forty miles around Boston, Plan of Boston and Chart of Boston harbor are wanting. The folded map preceding title page has title: Map of the environs of Boston. Drawn at Boston in June 1775; and published in London by J. Almon ... Aug. t28.th 1775. The entire collection, edited by John Almon, assisted by Thomas Pownall, was issued in 17 volumes, 1775-1784, with a supplementary volume, covering the years 1764-1775, published under a different title in 1777. Of the set only v. 1 appeared in a second, third and fourth edition. |
