The collection contains the original orderly book and a manuscript copy, April 10 - September 20, 1776, of the 4th Pennsylvania Battalion, with headquarters at Ticonderoga. The volume contains regimental and brigade orders with lists of guard details, field officer assignments, and descriptions of general courts-martial.
