This volume contains essays in French reflecting on the constitution of Pennsylvania adopted in 1776, and includes a copy of the constitution, as well as a translation of these essays into Italian. These essays were published in Brissot de Warville's Bibliotheque de Philosophie du Legislateur (Berlin, 1782).
