Summary: Philadelphian Frank (Francis Michael) Connolly (1916- ) served with the U. S. Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II. This collection consists of letters written from Connolly to his family on Somerset Street in Philadelphia, as well as letter written to Connolly during his service. In addition to the letters, there are also a few military documents related to his service, as well a civil service application he filled out after being discharged in 1946 and an auto insurance policy. There are also a few war ration booklets from members of the Connolly family, a clipping, and a number of photographs showing Connelly in uniform and overseas (likely in the Philippines) during wartime.
