Summary: John A. Wojciechowicz was born in Philadelphia in 1905 and married Laura F. Przybylowski in 1938, with whom he had two children, John and Bernadette. Wojciechowicz graduated from Drexel Institute of Technology Evening School with degrees in electrical engineering (1930) and business administration and management (1937) and was employed by the Philadelphia Electrical Company from 1925 to 1970. He served as national president of the American Council of Polish Cultural Clubs from 1971 to 1974, and for twelve years as vice president for Philadelphia of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America. He was co-sponsor with his wife in founding the Polish Heritage Society of Philadelphia. The collection includes clippings, correspondence, photographs, reports, printed materials, and other items relating to Polish-American organizations and activities and Polish cultural heritage.
