Magdalen Society of Philadelphia records of admissions and discharges, 1908-1917

The Magdalen Society were fastidious in their book keeping. The admissions and discharges manuscripts, which were maintained from 1836 to 1917, display the names and denominations of the women admitted to the Society. Some of the records also briefly note of the context behind particular entries.
