Summary: An East Prospect of the City of Philadelphia taken by George Heap from the Jersey Shore, under the direction of Nicholas Scull Surveyor General of the Province of Pennsylvania.  The bottom portion includes "A description of the situation, Harbour &c of the City and Port of Philadelphia."  A street map is shown, as well as prominent city buildings.  HSP holds various versions of this view by Scull and Heap.  This version has previously been shellaced and trimmed with dark green fabric.
