Summary: Life membership certificate containing an exterior view of the YMCA building building erected 1875-1877 after the designs of Addison Hutton at the southeast corner of Fifteenth and Chestnut streets for the branch of the Christian voluntary organization founded in 1854. View contains street and pedestrian traffic. Also contains a border shaped like a frame with ornamented cornices, and banners inscribed with Bible quotations referring to young men, wisdom, and love.
