Summary: Busy street scene showing the meetinghouse and school protected by a brick wall with five entrances at the southeast corner of Fourth and Chestnut streets. Shows young and old Friends departing and arriving, including J. P[emberton?], W. Waring, J. Evans, Robert Proud, [Jam?]es Pemberton, Nick Waln, and Thomas Morris. Many of the older Quakers use canes. Also shows two African American boys riding and chasing a pig near a street vendor and neighboring buildings. Meetinghouse completed in 1764 and razed in 1859.
