Baylies and Kennedy's Bright Lights theatrical poster, circa 1885

Frank Majilton's the Frolics of a Day was a musical comedy absurdity copyrighted by J. Alexander Brown in 1883. Gilmore's Auditorium was called the New Central Theatre in 1885.
