This booklet was produced in 1912 in response to the unexepectant death of founder Albert Schoenhut (1848-1912). Historically, Germany dominated the toy-making industry. Schoenhut was a German-American immigrant and he founded the Schoenhut company in 1872 to compete with German markets. By his death in 1912, Schoenhut had become the largest toy manufacturers in North America. This online record contains images of the entire book. |
