William Bartram answers to Benjamin Smith Barton queries about Indians, 1760
B.S. Barton asked naturalist and traveler William Bartram five questions about the Indian tribes he had "been acquainted with." It seems that Barton is particularly interested in the migratory origin of the eastern and southern tribes. His questions are listed at the beginning.
