(2) and (3) is photograph of a "Victory American flag" made from carnations dated March 17, 1942. From original image caption: "The show would lack something if there were no patriotic display and so an American flag has been created out of carnations. Displayed by Charles H. Grakelow, the flag is held proudly by Mrs. John W. Lord, Jr., of Germantown." |
