Summary: This 12-page pamphlet, which was reprinted from an article in the October 1904 Annals of Opthalmology, and delivered as an address at the St. Louis World's Fair on September 10, 1904, was written by Dr. Robert C. Moon.  Moon's father, Dr. William Moon, had developed the Moon Alphabet as an alternative to to the Braille system.  The Moon's, inlcuding Robert's sister, Adelaide, were instrumental in founding the Pennsylvania Home Teaching Society and Free Circulating Library for the Blind.
