Summary: Mary Norris' assignment of assets to her sister Sarah and her husband Richard Leedom. These assets included a mortgage and eight titles. Since Mary was the widow of Isaac Norris (1671 – 1735), the mortgage was likely related to Fairhill mansion since it was not destroyed until 1777. Two witnesses are listed: Hannah Griffitts and Samuel Pembetton. This assignment of assets was presented to Sarah on Oct. 18th 1765 by Lawrence Growden, Justice of the Peace in Bucks County. Sarah's husband Richard Leedom was also present. There is some ancillary writing on the reverse side. The bottom portion of the will has been reattached.
