Broad Street), Boat House Row, the monastery near Kitchen's Lane, and various other sites on park property. Shows the Kitchen's Lane Bridge and the Reading Railroad Bridge. Highlights swimming, ice skating and fishing at Centennial Lake, Concourse Lake, and Gustine Lake. Includes images of a variety of sports and games being played on grounds. Contains noteworthy views of monuments, statues, and gateways in Fairmount Park and on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Illustrates scenes on East and West River Drive. Shows rock gardens in the park as well as the Japanese garden. Depicts Japanese cherry trees and magnolias in bloom, and documents bag-worm infestation on park trees.
