Item Description:	"The First series of 'Notes' appeared in the Free press of Easton, Pa., in 1896, and began with the issue in 1799 of the first English newspaper printed in Northampton County, Pa. Unfortunately no reprints were made of these contributions, and of the series contained herein, only thirty copies are issued of which this is no. 6. [Signed]: E.A. Weaver."
