Title varies slightly. Includes the 1st-20th annual reports of the Society. Vols. for 1905-1921 include an annual bibliography of the publications of the Society. Vols. for 1912 and 1914-1921 include a chronological list of the publications of the Society, with prices. The 1st-12th, 16th and 20th have engraved title-pages within ornamental borders, and in part, with vignettes. These, as well as the printed titles of the other volumes from 1 to 20, are preceded by an engraved frontispiece presenting the device and motto of the society and a statement of the number of copies printed. The volumes for the first 20 years contain miscellaneous contributions by various authors in addition to the annual report of the organization. This feature is discontinued with the issue for 1922, which appears, without t.p. or decoration with half-title: Twenty-first annual report of the Bibliophile Society, Boston, Massachusetts. |
