The Alexander Adaire School was built in the 1890s. It is located in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood at East Thompson and Earl streets. The school was named after Alexander Adaire (1834-1904), president of the Philadelphia Lumber Exchange and member of the Pennsylvania state legislature. |
