The Adolph Forster Toy Company, a dealer of foreign toys and dolls, was run by Adolph Forster, a German immigrant who came to Philadelphia some time before 1845. After Adolph's death in 1891, his company was apparently run by his son, William Forster, with help from his brother-in-law, Henry Bauermeister. It is unknown when the company went out of business.
