Edwin C. Jellett, and his father, Morgan W. Jellett, resided in Germantown. Diaries recording Jellett's walks, visits, and other daily activities. The diaries for the 1860's give fragmented reminiscences. There are also 2 small financial memorandum books, 1848-1849, of Morgan Jellett.

Edwin C. Jellett resided in Germantown from (approximately) the age of 13. His father never resided in Germantown, but did reside in South Philadelphia. Morgan W. Jellett died in 1868, when Edwin was 8 years old.
