This is an artificial collection created by HSP staff, containing manuscript materials from many sources.
The collection is arranged alphabetically and primarily by individual, but unlike the "flat" collection, is far smaller in extent. Within this alphabetical arrangement are small collections documenting a number of individuals and filed by the name of the compiler. Other small collections, arranged by family name, consist of material pertaining to several generations. Materials include correspondence, legal documents, drawings, newsclippings, photographs and printed material as well as photostats, photocopies and typescripts of original manuscripts. Correspondence sometimes includes letters to and from the individual represented. |
