Image 1 is a map of the land, surveyed for John Chew in 1745, and shows adjacent land, Duck Creek, and structural features of the plantation like the barn, tobacco houses, and slave quarters. Also indicates that much of the land is marsh or swamp. Image 2 is a map of the same plantation from 1776. This map indicates the location of the house, a lane that divides the plantation, and "Phineas's Old Feild."
