Summary: An East Prospect of the City of Philadelphia taken by George Heap from the Jersey Shore, under the direction of Nicholas Skull [sic] Surveyor General of the Province of Pennsylvania.  The bottom portion includes "A description of the situation, Harbour &c of the City and Port of Philadelphia."  Prominent buildings are numbered and their names are given in the Reference in the lower right corner of the image.  HSP holds various versions of this view by Scull and Heap.  This particular print has a typo, spelling Nicholas Scull as Nicholas "Skull."  The lithograph is in two parts: left and right panoramas.
