Summary: A macabre pro-temperance political cartoon depicting Death as a skeleton. The figure is fully equipped with corkscrews, mint, etc. to depict the dangers of drinking.  Balancing on his head is a hat that resembles a still with 'U.S. Heavy Drinkers' across the side.  In the back left of the cartoon shows a tavern offering a free drink to those who purchase a local lottery ticket, while other skeletons appear to be causing a scene in and around the building.  The back right of the image shows a skeleton giving orders to those lined up and training for battle.

It is an anonymous copperplate print published in Philadelphia.
